Scan DWG Views
Lists all drawing views on a drawing with metadata: name, center, dimensions, scale, and view style.
What it is for
Quickly inspects the composition of a drawing (.idw or .dwg) without reviewing sheet by sheet. Useful for drawing audits or preparing exports.

Prerequisites
- Open drawing document (
.idwor.dwg) - Valid license
Step by step
- Open the drawing to analyze.
- Go to MicroCAD → Drawing Tools → Scan DWG Views.
- The tool walks all sheets and views automatically.
- Review the on-screen list, organized by sheet.

Result
- On-screen list (ListBox) with all detected views
- No output file is generated; this is a query tool
Notes and limitations
- Read-only: it does not modify the drawing.
- Corrupt views or broken references may appear with incomplete data.
- Useful as a step before exports or a BOM to PDF review.
